The slippers are great if you need support. The slippers are very comfortable.I wanted to love this clog. If fact I do love almost everything about it. The wool is soft enough to wear without socks, great arch support and all around footbed support, nice roomy toebox, very stylish. But,,,,they slip off your heels when you walk and that is really annoying. I actually started with the sister clog, Woolery, but I didn't like the way my naked heel felt. I can't wear socks because of Morton's Neuroma, so I figured I would try these next. Ordered a 8-8.5 (39) and the size felt fine but they just slipped right off my heels. So, after reading some other reviews that said to order a size down, I tried the 7-7.5 (38). They were a bit too tight AND they still slipped off. I'm thinking that if you are able to wear socks, and most humans are, they might stay on. Very sadly for me, I will be sending these back.I got these to wear around the house through a winter in the frigid upper Midwest USA. They are warm (with and without socks) and lightweight like a good slipper, and offer the orthotic support of my beloved Taos sneakers. They fit to size; I have higher than average arches, and although they are snug to put on, they don’t bite into my feet. Might not be able to get them on if your have very high arches. The outsoles are solid enough to run out to the mailbox in the cold if you need to. Recommend giving these a try.I am very happy with these shoes. I take a size 8 in 95% of shoes I buy. On Amazon, I ordered the size identified as 8-8.5. The shoe itself says 39. They are too roomy with bare feet but perfect with socks. I had intended to wear them with socks anyway so I thought they were perfect. They had a nice firm sole that was supportive but not too hard. They also had a perfect amount of arch support. I orderd the gray color and they were exactly as pictured. I can easily wear them outdoors, or around the house in the winter to do housework. I have plantar fasciitis and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I walked at least 2.5 miles in these immediately after purchasing them and didn't think about my feet once because these were so perfect.Wonderful indoor and outdoor clog. Wear well and is extremely comfortable. Much better than any I have had in the past from other companies. Worth every cent!I bought these because my condo is always cold in the winter and I knew I'd be freezing when working from home during the pandemic. They did the trick. They are comfy and warm. I easily switch from sitting to standing because they have so much great support. I don't wear them out of the house. I treat them like slippers and consider them indoor only use. They do run very big. I ordered a size smaller than what I normally wear. But, I have narrow feet.These shoes....are AMAZING! They are better than I imagined! Just order them! I normally wear a size 7 (38) but I took the advice and ordered the 6-6.5 (37) and they fit perfectly without socks or with thin socks. I wanted supportive house shoes so I ordered these and I could not have made a better choice! The color is great, they keep my bare feet warm without being hot and they are very comfortable. This is my first pair but will not be the last.This is my second pair; first are gray, and I've added navy. I did order down a size because initial pair was too loose in the heel. They're super-comfy, easy to slip on, provide excellent arch support. Well-made and worth the price - felt, leather interior, cork base with rubber sole. Wouldn't wear them out in bad weather, however - only for short trips to mailbox, trash - otherwise would not hold up. Great for indoors.
